Report on One Day Workshop on “Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights – New Challenges in the Era of Technology”

A one-day workshop on “Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights – New Challenges in the Era of Technology” was organized by SBRR Mahajana Law College, Mysuru, on June 20, 2026, at Subbalakshmi Hall, Jayalakshmipuram. The event witnessed the gracious presence of Hon’ble Shri. Justice E S Indiresh, Judge, High Court of Karnataka and Administrative Judge, Bengaluru South, who inaugurated the workshop. Prof. (Dr). C. Basavaraju, Vice Chancellor of Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, and Sri. Ravikumar. B.S, Vice President of Mahajana Education Society, Mysore, presided over the function. The technical sessions were led by Prof. (Dr). Sreenivasulu. N.S, Professor of Law at NUJS, Kolkata and Prof. (Dr). Sathish Gowda. N, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Bangalore University. Prof. P. Sarojamma, Administrative Officer, was also present on the occasion. The programme was attended by the Principal, Smt. Sowmya. K along with the teaching staff, non-teaching staff and students of the college.
